Notepad Bug when editing Perl scripts in Win XP?
Unfortunately, connected it with a file type rather than that old function of Notepad. I just tried adding the command to a file larger than 32k and I get the same error message. Either it's just an outdated command running into permission issues or it's a bug. Alternatives: Press F5 just after opening a text file

My notepad information for the planets on my starmap just suddenly disappeared. I had quite a few too. The white flag was still sticking out but the text was empty and the colored flags were gone! Hex Would you by chance be looking at the notes for the base when you left them for the planet (or vice-versa)?

Hallo zusammen, aber nur bei ANSI !!! Beim Speichern als Unicode, Unicode Big oder UTF8 tritt der Effekt nicht auf ! Ciao Stefan ich habe mir die Datei mal mit einem Hexeditor angesehen, da steht das richtige drin ! Es wird von Notepad nur nicht korrekt dargestellt. Hat man da noch Töne ? Ciao Stefan.

Today I found a BUG in Notepad, I have checked it in XP as well as in Vista and its working in both of them. Open Notepad and enable "Status Bar" from "View -> Status Bar". If this option is disabled, then first uncheck "Format -> Word Wrap" option and now enable Status Bar again. Now open any existing text file

Notepad Bug
The line breaks aren't added to the file, but they can be copied to the clipboard from the text in Notepad. Resizing isn't necessary for the unwanted line breaks to be added. All you have to do is save the document and then if you copy the text to the clipboard, the line breaks will be copied too.
